The SAFER Human Body Model is going global!

Date
21 November 2024 11:30-12:45
Place
Lindholmen Science Park, Lindholmspiren 3A (vån 2), room Aldman or online via Teams

We are excited to announce the global accessibility plan for the SAFER Human Body Model (HBM), enabling researchers and developers worldwide to leverage this advanced technology for creating safer products and conducting superior studies. Professor Bengt Pipkorn will share insights on this pivotal initiative at this week's SAFER lunch seminar. The SAFER HBM, a virtual human substitute, predicts injury outcomes in various impact scenarios, morphs to represent a large proportion of the population, and exhibits humanlike kinematics in crash events and pre-crash maneuvers. This global effort aims to enhance road safety through advanced human body modeling, and we are happy to share the details with the community, welcome!.
