Tylösand - annual road safety seminar
Welcome to the annual Tylösand road safety seminar!
The Swedish government has set a new target for vision Zero by 2030, which means, among other things, that the number of fatalities in road traffic will be reduced to a maximum of 133 people per year, how can we best work - and cooperate - to achieve these new goals?
In this year's edition of the Tylösand seminar, we will address this issue and many more major and minor topics in road safety work, for example:
• What are the long lasting effects of the pandemic and how does it affect road safety?
• How are we going to meet the challenge with both increased and safe cycling?
• What does the Stockholm Declaration mean for road safety work?
• How do we contribute to a positive traffic safety footprint?
• How do we relate to a changed mobility?
The overall topic for the seminar this year is “Time to increase the speed”.
SAFER will contribute in the knowledge sharing in the session about Modal shift - Challenges with future mobility in the city. Azra Habibovic will discuss around Behavioural aspects in active mobility – current gaps and challenges.
Welcome to join the dialogue!

The Tylösand Seminar, organized by MHF, is an annual traffic safety seminar. The first occasion was arranged in 1957, so it has become a well-established tradition in Tylösand during the autumns. During these years, the seminar has evolved into becoming an important part of Sweden's successful road safety work. The Tylösand Seminar is attracting anyone who is working with traffic safety issues; politicians, researchers and other actors. The Tylösand Seminar also offers many opportunities for informal contacts with key people working in the area of traffic safety.
