Congratulations to Lin Zhao - a new doctor
Congratulations to Lin Zhao, who successfully defended his PhD thesis “Remote Driving of Road Vehicles: Feedback Effects, Latency Compensation, and Driver Behavior” on 15 September at KTH, Stockholm.
Lin has been affiliated with KTH Engineering Mechanics and ITRL, and has contributed to the REDO and REDO2 projects associated with SAFER. His research has explored how remote driving can bridge the gap towards higher levels of vehicle autonomy, with a focus on driver feedback, situational awareness and strategies to compensate for latency in teleoperated driving.
We warmly wish Lin the very best in his future career and look forward to seeing the continued impact of his work in advancing remote driving and road safety.
