Active Dolly Build-Up

Chalmers have several projects about long high capacity transports, i.e. extra long heavy duty vehicles. Their performance can be improved with an Active Dolly (steered, propelled, braked dolly, with environment sensors). The project aims at building up such active dolly and demonstrating by showing improved performance in at least one critical manoeuvre. The Active Dolly will be part of the Vehicle Lab at Chalmers. An Active Dolly means a dolly with actively controlled steering, propulsion and braking. The project focuses steering.
