Linda Pipkorn successfully defended her doctoral thesis "The driver response process in assisted and automated driving" today!
Linda Pipkorn has been a PhD student in the group Crash Analysis and Prevention within Vehicle Safety division since 2018. Her research focus has been on human collaboration with automated vehicles and is within the EU-project L3pilot. The aim of the research has been to model how automated vehicles should behave in specific situations to meet human expectations and not trespass human comfort boundaries.
Linda’s opponent was Prof. David Abbink, Delft University of Technology and her main supervisor and examiner has been Prof. Marco Dozza, Chalmers University.
