GETTING HERE

Address: Lindholmspiren 3A, Lindholmen Science Park, Göteborg, Sweden.
Bus stop: Lindholmen

Ferry, bike, car or bus. There are many ways to get to SAFER at Lindholmen Science Park. The ferry takes only 5 minutes from Stenpiren and Bus 16 will take you to Lindholmen in 8 minutes from the Central Station.

From Göteborg Landvetter Airport (GOT)

Airport Coaches
The airport bus takes you to Göteborg City Centre in 30 minutes and cost SEK 105 (11 €). Take the bus to Nils Ericson Terminal/Central Station (Centralstationen).

Airport coaches

Go out the west exit to bus stop Nordstan. Bus 16 and 16X (direction Eketrägatan) runs every 3 minutes at rush hour. From Nordstan to Lindholmen takes 6-8 minutes. 
NOTE: You cannot pay with cash or card on the buses!

Västtrafik, Public transport

Taxi
The taxi service is located just outside the international transit hall. All of the major taxi chains are represented and standing by to help you get into town in a convenient and speedily manner. Approximate fixed prices by taxi from Landvetter Airport to Lindholmen cost 470 SEK (52€).

From the city center, the easiest route is to cycle across the Götaälv Bridge and then follow the signs to Lindholmen, which are parallel to Lundbyleden. From the central station, it takes about 20 minutes to cycle. You could also cycle to one of the ferry terminals and take the bicycle on the ferry to Lindholmen. At Lindholmen you can hire bicycles from Styr & Ställ for any period.

Bus: Route 16/16x departs every third minute during the morning and afternoon rush hour. Travel time from the Nordstan (Central Station) bus stop to Lindholmen is 6–8 minutes. You can also take buses 31, 45, 55, 58, 99, 121, 176 and 177.

The Älvsnabbare ferry is free of charge and runs every eight minutes between Stenpiren → Lindholmspiren, weekdays between 07:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The trip only takes six minutes.

The Älvsnabben ferry operates between Lilla Bommens Hamn → Stenpiren → Lindholmspiren → Slottsberget → Eriksbergs färjeläge. You use a Västtrafik ticket to pay for the trip.

Because of the ongoing construction work, we recommend that you travel here by public transport. If you must drive here, the journey takes only 5–10 minutes by car from the central station.

From Götaälv Bridge or Tingstad Tunnel
Exit toward Lindholmen/N Älvstranden at Lindholmsmotet. Then follow the signs to Lindholmen.

From the E6, E20 or highway 45
Exit toward Lindholmen/N Älvstranden at Lindholmsmotet. Then follow the signs to Lindholmen.

From Älvsborg Bridge and Torslanda​Drive toward Norra Älvstranden through the Lundby Tunnel. The exit toward Lindholmen is at the end of the tunnel. Then follow the signs to Lindholmen.
