Chalmers e-science Initiative Seminar
Impact of e-Science on Society and Research
The Chalmers e-science Initiative Seminar, to be held December 1-2, 2011, "Impact of e-Science on Society and Research" is attracting a range of national and international speakers in addition to local expertise.
e-Science cuts over a range of topical areas and this is reflected in the seminar program covering among other things Energy, Life Sciences, Materials & Nano, Transport and ICT as well as Basic Sciences and e-infrastructures (EGI, PRACE, SNIC and EUDAT) in relation to e-science. The aim is to foster new ideas and cross topical collaborations in a broader setting.
(SAFER related info: Helena Gellerman from SAFER will give a talk on “Finding the truth about car crashes using new datasets”. Selpi and Pontus Lindström, Chalmers, at SAFER are working on one of the e-Science pilot projects.)
