Creative workshop for 2025 Horizon Europe funding opportunities

Date
28 January 2025 09:00-14:15
Place
SAFER Demostudion (or Teams if needed)

SAFER partners are invited to a strategic workshop aimed at promoting idea generation and preparatory work for the upcoming 2025 calls within the Horizon Europe framework programme. This event serves multiple goals:

  • Facilitate dialogue on potential project ideas and explore how SAFER partners can contribute to and benefit from future projects.
  • Strengthen connections within the SAFER community to encourage deeper collaboration in EU-funded initiatives and other joint efforts.
  • Identify opportunities for projects where shared knowledge and expertise can add value and inspire innovation.

While there are no guarantees of securing funding, open dialogue in the early stages of idea development is crucial for success. We fully respect existing commitments in consortia that may limit the sharing of certain information.

Expected outcomes
By the end of the workshop, the aim is to have:

  • A set of initial project or work package ideas.
  • A plan for further developing these ideas, identifying leaders for the next stages of proposal preparation for relevant calls.

Workshop Set-Up
The workshop will include:

  • Information on select calls from the draft Horizon Europe work programme, as prioritised at the Research Day in November, alongside insights into other initiatives relevant to SAFER partners.
  • Breakout sessions for focused discussions on three specific calls, detailed below.
  • An opportunity for participants to present pre-prepared ideas and contributions tailored to the calls of interest. Further guidance on preparing and sharing inputs will be provided after registration.
