The next SAFER doctor is Matthijs Klomp, who will defend his thesis for the degree of doctor of philosophy, on 31st of August 2010, at 10:00.

Matthijs is an Industrial PhD Student at Department of Applied Mechanics, Division of Vehicle Safety, and Saab Automotive AB. He has been active in the SAFER environment from the start of SAFER in 2006.

The thesis will be presented in English. The faculty opponent is  Prof. Christian Gerdes, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Stanford University, USA.
