Docent Lecture by Anna Vadeby: "Traffic safety evaluation – speed, crashes and statistical methods"
Welcome to Anna Vadeby’s docent lecture "Traffic safety evaluation – speed, crashes and statistical methods"!
Anna Vadeby is a senior researcher in the area of traffic safety at the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI). Anna has a PhD in Mathematical Statistics in the field of Traffic Safety and Statistical Methods and a MSc in Mathematics and Physics for upper secondary and adult education. Her research focus on statistical analysis and evaluation of data related to traffic safety and statistical methods used include bootstrap, random surveys, analysis of variance, before and after studies and Empirical Bayes methods. Anna has been project leader for several large national projects evaluating traffic safety measures, such as new speed limits, milled rumble strips, and her experience in the area of traffic safety cameras is also comprehensive. Examples of present research projects are “evaluation of traffic safety cameras” and “speed compliance on municipality streets”.
After the lecture, coffee and cake is served at SAFER. Welcome!
