Driver Monitoring Systems Targeting Alcohol and Drug Use
The workshop on Driver Monitoring Systems Targeting Alcohol and Drug Use will bring together experts from traffic safety, medicine, regulatory expertise, and sensor technology to address a critical issue: the detection and mitigation of impaired driving. Participants will gain insights into the prevalence of impairment-related crashes, recent advances in detection technologies, and the challenges of integrating monitoring systems into vehicles. By exploring perspectives from medical, technological, and ethical standpoints, the seminar aims to develop a comprehensive dialogue on future direction of driver monitoring systems and identify research gaps.
Register here before November 29!
The workshop is hosted by SAFER's Working Group for Road User Behaviour.
