Heavy Vehicles: Mapping Road Traffic Crashes
This seminar focuses on road traffic crashes involving heavy vehicles and what systematic crash mapping can tell us about accident patterns, risk factors, and particularly critical situations. What types of crashes are most common, which road users are involved, and where are the greatest opportunities to prevent serious injuries and fatalities?
Linnea Kjeldgård; VTI, will present findings and insights from the mapping of crashes involving heavy vehicles and discuss how this knowledge can support future research, the development of safety measures, and more targeted road safety initiatives.
