Event

We would like to invite our SAFER partners to an idea creation workshop January 26 at 09:00-14:30 to start securing strong SAFER participation in the first calls within the Horizon Europe framework programme. 

PURPOSE
The overall purpose of the event is to initiate a dialogue about ideas and identify how you as a SAFER partner would like to contribute in potential projects and which knowledge you would like to build. Another purpose is to get to know each other for future deeper collaboration and to find further areas where joint projects could add value and inspire each other.

EXPECTED OUTCOME
After the workshop, our goal is that we have a number of initial project or work package ideas with a content that fits the SAFER research platform and our joint partnership as well as a plan for how we together can continue to develop the project ideas within each call and who would like to lead this work further.

SET-UP
During the day we plan to arrange workshops to start the dialogue around five calls, see the list below. We will also provide some background information and present the process ahead. As a participant in the workshops, you will prepare your input in advance of the meeting:
-    Information about yourself and core competence/interests – relevant for these calls.
-    Opportunity to feed in your initial ideas for the call you are interested in.

1.    C5-D6-CCAM-02-2021 More powerful and reliable on-board perception and decision-making technologies addressing complex environmental condition 
2.    C5-D6-CCAM-04-2021 Common approaches for the safety validation of CCAM systems
3.    C5-D6-CCAM-08-2021 Cyber secure and resilient CCAM
4.    C5-D6-SAFE-01-2021 Testing safe lightweight vehicles and improved safe human-technology interaction in the digital traffic system (two separate headings)
5.    C5-D6-SAFE-03-2021 Radical improvement of road safety in low- and medium-income countries in Africa
