Key highlights from DDi 2024
Join us for this week's lunch seminar together with Dr. Jonas Bärgman, Chalmers University of Technology, our scientific leader and co-chair in the DDI-organisation committee, as he presents highlights from the 9th International Conference on Driver Distraction and Inattention (DDI2024).
Held at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, October 22-24 this event brought together experts from academia, industry, and government to discuss the latest developments in driver distraction. Jonas will share key findings and trends in road user inattention and distraction, and safety challenges. This include reflections about the two panels (on DDI related design implications from research, and what comes after research – how to get DDI research into practice), and the two keynotes (on the challenges with cognitive load, and driver distraction in the age of increasingly automated vehicles). This will be followed by a short discussion on what research should be done next. A warm welcome!
