Road safety trends in Sweden 2019 – overview of the Swedish road safety performance indicators
Speaker: Matteo Rizzi, road safety analyst, Swedish Transport Administration, Vision Zero academy leader at SAFER

Sweden is known for Vision Zero. A number of interim targets have been set to manage the road safety work towards Vision Zero. The current interim target is to halve the number of fatalities between 2007 and 2020. This means a maximum of 220 road fatalities in 2020. The interim target will also mean that the number of seriously injured in road traffic will be reduced by 25%. A number of Safety Performance have also been set, for instance safer roads, safer cars, use of seat belts, bicycle helmets etc. This presentation will give an overview of the latest status for all Swedish safety performance indicators.

Register at below no later than 09.00 on Thursday, April 23, 2020.Please note this event requires a special invitation and is for SAFER partners only.
