Welcome to celebrate SAFER 15-year anniversary with all of us involved in this fantastic partnership - together we carry out research and generate knowledge to save lives and prevent injuries in traffic! September 29, we will arrange a range of activities; an inspirational seminar with highlights from our 15 years of research, workshops where we jointly begin creating a more long-term strategic research agenda. In addition, we will award an honorable prize to the project that is nominated the most ground-breaking so far in SAFER’s history. During this week you will also be able to enjoy SAFER’s special 15-year anniversary cake from L’s Café. A warm welcome to the celebration - we look forward to seeing you and celebrating together! Welcome to create the future of SAFER! In the workshops we start creating ideas for future SAFER activities, based on the input from the partners. Which research and knowledge do we jointly want to develop and where do we want to be in 10-15 years’ time? The output will be the base for SAFER’s future research agenda. Inspirational seminar: Innovation, co-creation and collaboration - what can we learn from the past to create SAFER’s future
Location: Online 

Welcome to get inspired by Björn Sandén, innovation expert at Chalmers and Anna Nilsson-Ehle, SAFER's former director. Together, they reflect upon why research and innovation takes time, how to set long-term, sustainable goals and how to create new, creative thoughts and visions. Is a failure always a failure and which role does collaboration play in the research and innovation process? We also take a historical look back at SAFER's 15 years; which are our main historical milestones and how did we get our initial ideas to fly? The seminar will be concluded with an award ceremony for the most ground-breaking SAFER project so far. SAFER’s 15 year anniversary award to the most significant research project 
Since 2006, about 370 projects have been concluded under the SAFER umbrella, which one has had the most impact on SAFER’s development during these 15 years? Nominate the project that you think has been the most groundbreaking or has created new knowledge that has really contributed to great joint progress within the SAFER partnership. The nomination ballot is open until August 22, after which a short list will be presented! 
The winning project will be presented at the celebrations September 29.

SAFER anniversary cake
During this birthday week (w39), you will also be able to enjoy SAFER’s special 15-year anniversary cake from the café at Lindholmen Science Park. Just ask for a SAFER anniversary cake - it is free for all SAFER partners. The cake is served Sep 28-30.
