This is the first SAFER Thursday seminar of 2021, we hope to continue with the fantastic increase in attendance we saw in 2020. This first session is hosted by Zenseact, a new SAFER partner.

Zenseact - “Make safe and intelligent mobility real, for everyone, everywhere”

Our mission is to “Make safe and intelligent mobility real, for everyone, everywhere”, focusing on Autonomous driving and premium ADAS solutions. The talk will elaborate on some of the prerequisites to be able to develop safe features, such as data mining, artificial intelligence etc. Validation of our functionality is of outmost importance and will be addressed. In this presentation, we will furthermore reason about the fundamental differences between ADAS and ADS and how these can be tackled. An important aspect of this is how the driver will perceive the difference between supervised (ADAS) and unsupervised (ADS) driving. The presentation will additionally touch base on some of the many existing and coming standards that address autonomous driving.
