We are pleased to have the opportunity to have visitors from CATARC, China Automotive Technology & Research Center, at SAFER next week. CATARC is the national science research institute in China, which also is the national vehicle inspection center. The C-NCAP is run by CATARC and they do also perform some vehicle safety related prospective studies. During the seminar they will give a brief introduction to CATARC and present their current work to establish vehicle crash dummies and human modelling, which are based on Chinese anthropometric data and injury criteria.
