Short bio:
Roberto Montanari is cofounder and responsible for the R&D of RE: Lab, an Italian SME focused on Human Machine Interaction, and Professor of Interaction Design at the University Suor Orsola Benincasa of Naples, as well as the coordinator of a Research Centre named Scienza Nuova, whose main purpose is to promote integration between Humanities and Technologies.
Roberto’s research has been oriented around Interaction Design and Human-Machine Interaction and the main purpose of his work has been to investigate new modalities aimed at improving the link between technology and their users and, hence, guarantee the delivery of products and services with a higher levels of quality and competitiveness. Roberto is investigating these issues within various domains, in particular in the field of automotive (HMIs for dashboards, clusters, and on-board entertainment systems), TLC (added value services), App and Internet of Things (design of connected objects and usable Apps ), motorcycles (advanced clusters), racing cars including F1 (telemetry), and industrials automation (HMI for control panels).
