SAFER Thursday lunch seminar: Acceptance for use of Safety Technology (AuST)
Welcome to a lunch seminar presenting results from a SAFER-funded project Acceptance for use of Safety Technology (AuST)
Heavy goods vehicles are overrepresented in serious road accidents, yet advanced safety systems are not always used to their full potential. This feasibility study, financed by SAFER’s Idea Exploration Programme and conducted in collaboration with Scania and Guidance to Zero, aims to increase understanding of fleet managers’ and truck drivers’ awareness, acceptance, and use of active safety systems. The study is based on a websurvey and interviews with both fleetmanagers and drivers.
The session includes a presentation followed by Q&A and discussion.
Presenters
- Sanna Eveby, Guidance To Zero
