Welcome to our SAFER Thursday lunch seminar with Miroslaw Staron!

Miroslaw Staron is a full professor, Interaction Design and Software Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology/University of Gothenburg, focused on industrial, evidence-based improvement of software development. His work spans software metrics (measurement systems and prediction models), model-driven software development (industrialisation of MDSD, empirical studies in modelling, and large-scale model development), and empirical methods in software engineering with an emphasis on experiments and industrial case studies. He also studies defect inflow prediction in medium and large projects and requirements engineering in model-based development (including doctoral supervision).

In this talk, he will connect these research strands to the emerging shift towards Software-Defined Vehicles - vehicles where functionality increasingly depends on software, data, and continuous updates.
 

Practical Information

SAFER Thursday lunch seminars are held both at the SAFER office,  Chalmers Campus Lindholmen, building Saga, room Okeanos or online (Teams).

• In-person attendance: Lunch will be provided at the SAFER office, Chalmers Campus Lindholmen, starting at 11:30 AM. The seminar will then be held in a hybrid format from 12:00 to 12:45 PM. Registration is required for lunch. Please register for lunch by 12:00 PM on the Tuesday before the seminar.
• Online attendance: No registration is needed. Simply join via the Microsoft Teams link sent to all SAFER partners ahead of the event. The seminar is held in a hybrid format from 12:00 to 12:45 PM.
