Welcome to the SAFER seminar:

Speaker: Prof Gunnar Flötteröd, KTH Royal Institute of Technology
Host: Devdatt Dubhashi, Chalmers

Multi-agent simulations are powerful tools to mimic the complex interactions of multiple actors in realistic environments, such as travelers in a metropolitan region. Computational facilities to simulate systems with millions of actors are by now available. This presentation discusses basic concepts and advanced methods to calibrate multi-agent simulations from real data, both off-line and in real-time. Results from a large, real case study in the domain of transportation demonstrate the feasibility of the approach.

The seminar is free of charge and open to all!
