Welcome to a SAFER Thursday lunch seminar: FIA Road Safety index and way forward
FIA Road Safety index: overview, experience from early adopters and the way forward
FIA Road Safety index is a tool that helps organisations to monitor and report on the road safety impact, or footprint, of operations throughout their value chain. In the seminar we'll hear from Luca Pascotto, Head of Road Safety and Global Advocacy at the FIA and Jennie Edvardsson, Sustainable Transport Business Manager at Scania. Luca will present some experiences from the early adopters and the FIA strategy to deploy the programme globally, as well as an overview on the methodology development while Jennie gives us an overview of how Scania has worked with the index and how they are securing future development in their road-safety efforts. After the presentations we'll have a discussion about organisations role traffic safety.
Sanna Eveby, Guidance to Zero, leader for our working group “To identify and improve your organisation’s work within traffic safety”, is hosting the seminar.
