Welcome to SAFER Thursday lunch seminar: SINFONICA

Date
23 January 2025 11:30-12:45
Place
SAFER, Lindholmen Science Park, Lindholmspiren 3A room Aldman or online

SINFONICA is dedicated to driving a shift towards smart, innovative mobility that is inclusive and equitable, focusing on an approach that places users and their needs at the core of its mission. To achieve this vision, SINFONICA will create functional, efficient, and pioneering strategies, methods, and tools to engage users, providers, and stakeholders in Cooperative, Connected, and Automated Mobility (CCAM). By capturing and organizing the needs, desires, and concerns of CCAM users, SINFONICA aims to create a structured and usable knowledge base that is valuable for all stakeholders.

A crucial focus of the project is enhancing the acceptance of CCAM solutions among citizens and future users. For all stakeholders in the autonomous and connected mobility sector, this acceptance is essential for broad deployment. By taking a bottom-up approach, SINFONICA captures the diverse mobility needs of European citizens, with special attention to vulnerable groups and underrepresented communities. The project emphasizes direct engagement with various segments of society through a participative process, building a vast inventory of knowledge represented as knowledge maps.

One of SINFONICA’s most innovative contributions will be the creation of the Knowledge Map Explorer, a tool designed to translate gathered insights into practical guidelines and long-term recommendations that ensure CCAM solutions promote social inclusion. Through the Knowledge Map Explorer, stakeholders will gain access to knowledge that supports inclusive decision-making, ensuring that CCAM deployments align with societal needs.
