Workshop on field data for collision avoidance and driver assistance systems
IRCOBI pre-conference workshop on
Collision Avoidance and Driver Assistance Systems
- Field data, what do we have and what do we need for future research?
Welcome to a workshop organized by SAFER to define strategies for the collection, analysis and implementation of field data for safety development and evaluation focusing on collision avoidance/
mitigation. The workshop will address vehicle, infrastructure and human aspects (eg. HMI).
Presentations will be given by invited speakers to initiate discussions on state-of-the-art and future research, aiming at the development of methodology for testing and evaluation. Participants from different fields are encouraged to enable a multidisciplinary forum.
The workshop is organized by SAFER and is a pre-workshop to the conference International Research Council on Biomechanics of Injury (IRCOBI), which is hosted by Chalmers on September 11-13, 2013, at Campus Johanneberg.
The workshop is open for all (thus it is not necessary to participate at the IRCOBI conference) but registration is made through the IRCOBI secretariat.
