Aug, 09 2017

The SAFER-associated project AdaptIVe ended in June after three and a half years. The aim of the project has been to develop and test new technologies that enable partial and fully automated driving on motorways and in densely populated city areas. The project has explored several different research areas including vehicle and driver interaction, as well as legal and responsibility issues for drivers and vehicle manufacturers. AdaptIVe has involved 29 different organizations, including SAFER's partners Volvo Group, Volvo Cars and Chalmers. The project was concluded with a conference in Aachen, Germany.
