Congratulations SAFER doctor Vivekendra Singh

Dec, 16 2022

Vivekendra Singh successfully defended his doctoral thesis, today December 16 and we have a new SAFER doctor in the SAFER community! The thesis is entitled "3-D rate dependent micromechanical model for polymer composites".

Vivekendra Singh is an industrial PhD student at the division of Material and Computational Mechanics, Department of Industrial and Materials Science at Chalmers University of Technology and currently working at the Department of Polymer Material and Composite, RISE AB as a Research Engineer. His main research area has been on the development of the advanced material model for polymer composites in crash simulations. The research was financially supported by the ICONIC project under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement.

The opponent at the defense was Frans van der Meer, Delft University of Technology. Vivekendra’s main supervisors has been Robin Olsson, Chalmers University, Erik Marklund, RISE and Ragnar Larsson, Chalmers University.
