Per Lövsund has been appointed as "SAFER doctor of honour" in connection with his fare-well reception April 25th.

Per has had a significant impact on SAFER's formation and development over the years. He was initially part of the creation of SAFER and participated as one of the most active members of the planning team. When SAFER started, Per was the leader of the Crash Reference Group until mid 2007 and on the SAFER Board since 2009. As head of the Chalmers Department of Applied Mechanics Per has greatly contributed to maintain and expand SAFER's competence base and valuable network, which has benefited the partners.
