MoU signed by SAFER and Korea Transportation Safety Authority

Feb, 02 2016

As a result of our international work and as a direct spin-off of SAFER hosting the ESV2015 conference in June 2015, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Korea Transportation Safety Authority (KOTSA) and SAFER.

During a visit at SAFER, representatives from KOTSA, SAFER and Swedish Transport Administration discussed future collaboration possibilities. The purpose of the MoU is to promote the development of collaboration on academic and research activities and to contribute to cultural enrichment.

Korea's traffic safety goals are very ambitious and the Swedish work with Vision Zero is of great interest for KOTSA. Young-Tae Oh, president of KOTSA, and Anna Nilsson-Ehle, director of SAFER, signed the mutual agreement during a ceremony at SAFER on January 29, 2016.
