Jun, 29 2017

An article written by researchers from the Research area Care and Rescue have been reviewed in the leading scientific journal JEMS (Journal of Emergency Medical Services).

The article about how microwave technology could be used for detecting traumatic intracranial bleedings was selected for “Research Review – What current studies mean to EMS”. The scientific journal JEMS is known of being the leading providers of information for the improvement of patient care in the prehospital setting.

SAFER’s Research area leader Bengt Arne Sjöqvist comments on the success:

"This project is a brilliant example of how SAFER can act as an efficent collaboration platform as well as inspire and to initiate new and important projects. As SAFER was able to finance an initial pilot study, the project has since found other ways to progress."
