Welcome back after a hopefully relaxing vacation. Autumn 2023 is approaching, and we are looking forward to further collaboration to co-create a safe and sustainable traffic environment for all.
As usual, a variety of activities will be arranged at SAFER during the autumn. It is the last period of our current collaboration agreement, and a focus for us in the management will be to set the final details of our joint research agenda for SAFER's next stage. We have received valuable input from many of you in the network, and your ideas will hopefully make SAFER even more value-creating, and inspiring to increase the speed of transition towards a sustainable mobility system.
We will continue to offer opportunities for you to meet, learn as well as build relationships and knowledge through workshops, networking events and knowledge-sharing activities. We have new IT-equipment in place in our conference rooms at Lindholmen to enable hybrid meetings with good quality, welcome to the SAFER office! We will start up our weekly Thursday lunch seminars August 31, a warm welcome also to these. We are updating our event agenda continuously, but we can already now tease you about a breakfast event about traffic safety footprint September 8, next Research area day Sep 19, Lindholmen Open day Sep 20 and our conference on system safety, which we are hosting together with KTH, November 21-22.
