Oct, 07 2025

We invite you to submit your abstract for the 10th International Conference on Driver Distraction and Inattention (DDI2026), taking place in Gothenburg, Sweden, between 20–22 October 2026.

DDI is the meeting place for the global community of leading researchers, innovators, practitioners, and policymakers in driver distraction and inattention. With delegates from over 20 countries across academia, industry, and government, the conference offers a comprehensive overview of the latest findings, trends, and technologies, making it the place to be for those wanting to stay up-to-date on this topic.

DDI2026 will feature keynote addresses, interactive panel dialogues, parallel sessions, a poster exhibition, and a student award, alongside plenty of opportunities for informal exchange and global networking. It's more than a conference; it's a dynamic forum for collaboration, inspiration, and progress in tackling one of the most pressing international road safety challenges of our time.

What to submit
The Scientific Committee welcomes extended abstracts for presentations, papers, or posters from all sectors (research, design, engineering, policymaking, transport operators, etc.), all transport modes (land, air, sea), and across a wide range of disciplines: psychology, neuroscience, human factors, medicine, engineering, sociology, law, policy and more.

All abstracts and papers will undergo peer review by the leading international experts in our Scientific Committee. Accepted contributions will be published in the conference proceedings.
