Call for Members – Steering Group at SAFER
SAFER is now forming a new Steering Group to begin its work in January 2026 – and we warmly invite nominations from across the partnership.
The Steering Group plays an important role in guiding SAFER’s strategic direction, ensuring that the platform continues to create value, addresses the relevant societal needs, and reflects the priorities of our partners. The focus is on developing SAFER as a national collaboration platform – shaping activities, strategic initiatives and new opportunities in close dialogue with the partner community. This is a unique opportunity to co-create the next phase of SAFER’s development – and to contribute with your insights, networks, expectations and experience to strengthen traffic safety knowledge-building in Sweden and beyond.
Participation offers:
- A system-level perspective on traffic safety
- A chance to influence key directions, activities and investments
- A strong, trust-based network across sectors
The Steering Group meets about 4 times per year, with one additional strategic workshop annually. A more detailed role description is attached to this invitation. We are looking for members who are engaged, strategic, and committed to SAFER’s mission. If this sounds like you – or someone you know – we would like to hear from you.
