OPEN NOW: Call for OPEN RESEARCH @ ASTAZERO Project Proposals

Funding is available for research projects that want to use the AstaZero proving ground during the second half of 2019.

Timeline

Submission deadline:              April 30th, 2019.
Decision letters:                        Mid of June 2019.
Projects can start:                    Second half of 2019 (please be aware of the summer break and get in contact with AstaZero (Henrik.Biswanger@astazero.com) to discuss possible setups and timeslots for testing before submitting your proposal).

Program

This program is funding Open Research projects at AstaZero by providing FREE access to the world’s first full-scale test environment for future road safety.

It’s aiming to stimulate and facilitate open, independent and world-leading research that generates openly available results and data and an inspiring network between researchers. By making the unique test environment accessible to researchers from around the world open research will become one of the main pillars of AstaZero.

Researchers from universities or research institutions or small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can apply for

• Test track time,
• Workshop use,
• Support (e.g. testing engineers, or drivers), and
• Use of equipment.

We are open-minded and welcome projects from all related scientific disciplines!

This program is financed by RISE and Chalmers and led by SAFER.
