Call for Presentations: Scandinavian Conference on Systems & Software Safety 2022
Are you interested in system safety and curious about new knowledge?! They you should save the dates November 22-23 and join the 10th Scandinavian Conference on Systems & Software Safety at Lindholmen Science Park in Gothenburg. The call for presentations and workshops are now open - take the opportunity to present your work, get inspired by others and join the dialogue about this important topic! The theme for the conference in 2022 is Safety and Cybersecurity.
System and software safety is becoming increasingly important in many industries and in critical societal infrastructure. Systems are becoming ever more complex, connected and autonomous and the software continues to grow. This poses many challenges even for mature organizations, requiring approaches that go beyond established best practices. Many organizations face the same kind of challenges, making the sharing of ideas and experiences essential.
The Scandinavian Conference on System and Software Safety has become a central meeting place for Scandinavian safety experts from industry, public and academic organizations. The conference is an opportunity to network and make new contacts. There will be a plenary overview day, and a second day with parallel sessions. The parallel sessions will be in depth workshops and tutorials about different challenges, techniques, standards and methods. As for the previous years, we anticipate a well-balanced mixture of participants with presentations from different industries and academia.
We would like to invite proposals for presentations and workshops on safety-related topics. In this year’s conference we will have a special focus on Safety and Cybersecurity, but proposals for presentations on other topics are also welcome, including for example safety as related to public infrastructure, artificial intelligence, agile development, design-and architectural decisions, functional safety, autonomy and quality assurance.
The conference is co-hosted by SAFER, KTH, Addalot and ICES (Innovative centre for embedded systems).
