Call for a scholarship for traffic medicine research

The Swedish traffic medicine Association's Research Fund (STMFF) has the main focus of promoting scientific research and activities in traffic medicine and:

1. From the foundation award a scholarship to persons in the traffic medicine

area that have made extraordinary valuable efforts.

2. Award scholarships whose use will promote the development of applicants and traffic medicine, as well as

3. Provide contributions to special projects that are of particular importance in traffic medicine.

 

The Research fund hereby announces the possibility of applying for a scholarship or a support to a travel scholarship. The fund intends to support a travel scholarship grant (SEK 10,000) and another scholarship / prize (25,000 SEK) this year. The assessment is carried out by the STMFF Board and is based on the quality of the application.

 

Applications can be made by medical staff and other healthcare professionals, or researchers who have published with significant work in the field of traffic medicine.

 

The application must be received by Professor Göran Kecklund, chairman of STMFF no later than November 30, 2017. Send your application by e-mail: goran.kecklund@su.se.

 

The application must contain the following parts:

1. Applicant's name, e-mail, title, address, workplace and telephone number,

2. Applicant's curriculum vitae

3. If the application concerns a prize / scholarship, the work on which the application is based is stated

4. If the application concerns a travel allowance: what is the purpose of the trip, costs and if the applicant has received another contribution to the trip.

 

The application must be a maximum of two pages plus CV. Decisions on who have received a prize / scholarship are presented at the VTI Transport Forum, Linköping 10-11 January 2018.
