Congratulations, Dr. Ali Mohammadi!

Apr, 25 2025

We warmly congratulate Ali Mohammadi on successfully defending his doctoral thesis “Computational models for safe interactions between automated vehicles and cyclists” at Chalmers University of Technology.

Ali’s research focuses on understanding how cyclists and automated vehicles interact at intersections, aiming to develop predictive models that help ensure safe and reliable manoeuvres by automated vehicles. His work provides important insights into improving traffic safety, especially for vulnerable road users like cyclists.

We wish Ali the best of luck in his continued journey – and hope he keeps contributing to safer roads for all! We need more scientists dedicated to advancing traffic safety!
