Horizon 2020: Chalmers takes the lead in transport

The annual report of Sweden's participation in Horizon 2020 2017 states that Sweden is among the 10 most successful countries in the programme, and names Chalmers, SAFER's host, as the leading Swedish player in the field of transport.

The European Framework Program for Research and Innovation, Horizon 2020, provides significant funding opportunities for Swedish research and innovation actors, as well as opportunities to participate in European cooperation projects for technology development and solutions to societal challenges. At this reporting date, Horizon 2020 has passed half-time and the program's € 80 billion budget for the seven-year period around 29 billion euros had been contracted in January 2018. This progress report presents Swedish participation in Horizon 2020 and includes the data presented by the EU Commission in January 2018. The EU Commission publishes recurring cumulative data of calls made so far.This report also presents an overview of Swedish research and innovation financiers' participation in European Partnership Programs.
