New prototype bicycle for safer cycling
How can bicycles be safer? This is exactly what SAFER is conducting research about in one of its innovative projects about safer cycling. This exciting project, conducted in collaboration with Cycleurope, has developed a new type of safer three-wheel bike. As it has just three wheels, it becomes more stable and the risk of falling, for example in case of heavy braking or slipping, decreases. The bike has a practical load space in the front. Otherwise, the prototype has the same characteristics as a regular bike.
A test series is currently taking place where volunteers evaluate the cycle at Lindholmen Science Park in Gothenburg.
