QRTECH - a new SAFER associated partner
We welcome our new associated partner QRTECH to our research community!
QRTECH, our forty-sixth partner, is a consultant agency specialised in functional safety, a research area that is growing in importance within SAFER.
“The safe and sustainable transport systems of the future place new demands on technology and knowledge building about system safety becomes even more important to us as the systems become increasingly complex. A strong integration of system safety within SAFER and to find synergies for our research is hence an important area for us to further explore”, Malin Levin at SAFER’s secretariat explains.
QRTECH is a consultant agency in electronics, software and digital services. The company has origins in research and Gothenburg’s world-leading automotive industry. Today, QRTECH operate in several high-tech industries and provides consultancy services, product development and design from early concepts and prototypes all the way to product supply for OEMs and Tier1 within vehicle and traffic safety.
QRTECH has extensive experience working with safety critical vehicle systems and is for example partner in SAFER’s high-profile projects SMILE3 and VALU3S.
QRTECH’s ambitions is to contribute in SAFER’s competence networks, focusing on the system safety and safety assertion of AD systems. QRTECH will bring a large experience pool and has a strong interest in safety critical real-time systems, both for manually controlled vehicles and for autonomous driving.
