Record numbers of participants joined us to learn about traffic safety footprints

Mar, 06 2022

175 registered participants were curious to know more about how municipalities can work to contribute to a safer and more sustainable transport system at our webinar about traffic safety footprints, March 3th. The purpose of the seminar was to give the participants inspiration, new knowledge and the opportunity to be part of the conversation about how we can make improvements together, using the concept of traffic safety footprints.

Tania Dukic Willstrand, DuWill AB and Magnus Hjälmdahl, Sweco talked about Traffic Safety footprints - a municipal tool for measuring contributions to the Global Sustainable Development Goals. Malin Levin, Collaboration Inspirer at SAFER, invited the participants to a competence network. Suzanne Andersson, City of Gothenburg and Madelene Abu Izam, Partille Municipality, which are two example municipalities - reflected upon the project results.

The seminar ended with a panel discussion and Q&A where we discussed how we reach an increased awareness of the municipalities' overall road safety footprint and how we can continue to work together.

The seminar was arranged in collaboration with NTF West, Sweco, Partille Municipality, City of Gothenburg and Tania Dukic Willstrand.
