SAFER assignment in EARPA
Magnus Granström, SAFER's Director, has recently been appointed as Speaker of the Foresight Group for Future Mobility of People and Goods within EARPA, the European Automotive Research Partner Association. The task of this group is to deal with the overall aspects, such as implementation and business models, of the mobility of people and goods in our future society, based on the technological developments in other EARPA groups. Magnus and other SAFER people from Chalmers and RISE are also participating in other EARPA activities, such as the group focusing on Connectivity, Automation and Safety.
"The assignment will give us opportunities to influence the European research agenda and help ensure that traffic safety is included , build valuable networks and keep us updated on many important road safety related matters", Magnus concludes.
