SAFER is moving to new premises in 2026
From January 2026, SAFER will relocate from Navet to new premises on the second floor of Kuggen at Lindholmen, a distinctive Chalmers building known for its bright and inspiring environment. The move is part of SAFER’s ongoing transformation – reducing fixed costs while creating even better conditions for collaboration and knowledge-building towards a safe and sustainable transport system.
The relocation follows Lindholmen Science Park’s move to Kuggen, together with several important programs such as AI Sweden, MobilityXlab, CLOSER and Drive Sweden. SAFER will also share facilities with Lighthouse, Chalmers’ centre for maritime transport.
Our new space of approx. 200 m² will include:
- A large conference room for 50–60 people
- A smaller meeting room for 10–12 people
- Collaboration areas and Think & Talk rooms
- Opportunities for partners to work on site
