SAFER network on study tour!
SAFER researchers meet with experts at Halmstad University and at Cycleurope in Varberg to enhance cooperation and get inspiration to new projects.
Halmstad University is conducting world-class research in several areas that support increased road safety. Cooperation is – as usual - a key factor for success, and on December 7th, SAFER's network visited the university, and also Cycleurope’s state-of-the-art bicycle factory in Varberg. Bicycles play an important role in a sustainable society and it was interesting to learn about bicycle safety and how the industry is developing. The sales of electric bicycles and so-called cargo cycles in a very high rate. The purpose of the tour was to enhance co-operation between the SAFER partners, share knowledge and get inspiration to new projects.
