SAFER Thursday lunch seminar series spring 2024

We are thrilled to unveil the schedule for our SAFER Thursday lunch seminars this spring!

Our concept: Join us for a networking lunch starting at 11:30 at SAFER, followed by a hybrid seminar from 12:00 to 12:45, promoting engaging dialogue. Our aim is to share insights into road safety research, explore new research topics, and encourage networking within our community. These seminars serve as a catalyst for inspiration, stimulation the creation of new projects and enhancing collaboration.

  • February 29 (week 9): Presentation of the competences and research needs by our new partners, Axkid, Daniel Lundgren & Linköping University, Erik Frisk

  • April 18 (week 16): Outlook Norway: Approach, innovation and initiatives for traffic safety, Rune Elvik, TOI
  • April 25 (week 17): The TRL Bus Safety Standard: Improving Outcomes for Pedestrians and Passenger, Phil Martin, TRL
  • May 2 (week 18): Presentation of Combitech – a SAFER partner’s needs, projects and and interests in traffic safety research, speaker to be decided
  • May 16 (week 20): Update from the CCAM partnership and upcoming opportunities, Ingrid Skogsno, VTI, Anna Larsson, RISE and Magnus Granström, SAFER
