SAFER’s director Magnus Granström appointed profile leader at Transport area of advance at Chalmers
Magnus has been given the honorable assignment to contribute to the development of traffic safety research at Chalmers Transport area of advance. Within Chalmers, the profile leaders have the responsibility to develop the area and encourage multidisciplinary initiatives involving researchers across Chalmers, and in this case also at Gothenburg University. As a profile leader, you also participate in relevant activities representing Chalmers as host.
Transport Chalmers area of advance is divided into three profile areas of which Traffic Safety is one and the others are Sustainable vehicle technologies, Transport efficiency and customer adapted logistics. The role has a big overlap with Magnus’ role as director at SAFER and it will be of benefit to work together with other profile areas because traffic safety is intimately linked to other aspects, such as transport efficiency.
Magnus comments on his new role:
