Safety conference to Gothenburg

In June 2015, the well-known vehicle safety conference "International Technical Conference on the Enhanced Safety of Vehicles (ESV)" will be held in Gothenburg. ESV is the world's largest technical safety conference and the 2015 conference is the 24th edition.

More than 600 delegates are expected for the 24th International Technical Conference on the Enhanced Safety of the Vehicles (ESV) in Gothenburg, Sweden on June 8-11, 2015.

ESV is sponsored by the United States Department of Transportation, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in cooperation with participating ESV member countries. ESV2015 is hosted by SAFER Vehicle and Traffic Safety Centre and Swedish Transport Administration.

The conference contains technical sessions, plenary discussions, exhibition, and technical tours. It will be held at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre in Gothenburg, Sweden.

A Brief History Of The ESV Conference
The United States Department of Transportation, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA),Office of Vehicle Safety is the official Government agency responsible for the implementation of the International Technical Conference on the Enhanced Safety of Vehicles (ESV) held every two years at a venue agreed upon by the participating Government Focal Points (GFP). 

The Conference is hosted by an ESV member country selected in advance by the GFPs representing the participating Governments’ transportation organizations.

ESV attendees include members of governments, automobile manufacturers and their suppliers, safety researchers and other motor vehicle safety professionals, medical, insurance, legal and policy professionals, consumers, academia, students and international media.
