Second visit by SAFER's International Scientific Advisory Board

The International Scientific Advisory Board (ISAB) of SAFER is an advisory body to SAFER's management and its executive board. The ISAB board will meet at SAFER on 15-16 of May for a scientific review of SAFER 2011-2013.

This includes providing advice about the quality, scientific relevance and organization of the research at SAFER in an international context. The advice concerns both the research carried out as well as future plans.

The ISAB consists of leading independent scientists of high international reputation with complimentary expertise covering the SAFER research field. This is the second visit for ISAB. The first review took place in February 2011.

Joseph Kanianthra is President of Active Safety Engineering LLC and Former Associate Administrator for Vehicle Safety Research (Retired) at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, U.S. Department of Transportation.

Prof. Kazuya Takeda is Professor at Graduate School of Information Science, Green Mobility Collaborative Research Center, Nagoya University, Japan.

Anne Guillaume is Director of the Laboratory of Accidentology, Biomechanics and human behavior (GIE PSA Peugeot Citroën - Renault) and Leader of the field of strategic activities on Road Safety for the French cluster MOV'EO.

Martin Baumann is Team Leader at German Aerospace Center (DLR), Institute of Transportation Systems, Germany.
