Sweden is hosting the UN Conference on Road Safety 2020
The UN General Assembly in New York has recently confirmed that Sweden will host the third global high-level conference on road safety in 2020.
The road safety conference, which will now be held in Sweden 2020, is the end of the UN Decade for Road Safety and is closely linked to, among other things, the WHO (World Health Organization). The purpose of the conference is to discuss how the global road safety objectives can be developed in this area, not least in the light of Agenda 2030. An important task is to prepare a declaration focusing on global road safety work up to 2030.
