Three students nominated to the Best Student Award at the International Conference on Driver Distraction and Inattention

We are happy to announce that we have three students nominated to the Best Student Award, handed out at the International Conference on Driver Distraction and Inattention, coming to Lindholmen Science Park, Gothenburg, Sweden, October 19-20! Join the conference and learn more from them, and many others!

The best combined abstract and presentation will be taken into account in the evaluation. The nominated students are:

  • Dan Boguslavsky, Ben Gurion University Of The Negev with his work “Effect of engagement with a Trivia game on driver’s sleepiness and behavioural adaptation in a partially automated vehicle”
  • Gaëtan Perrotte, Stellantis, with his work “Body posture and physiological indicators for drowsiness detection in a partial automated driving”
  • Pierluigi Olleja, Chalmers University of Technology, with his work “Quantification of driver’s side-glance frequency and duration in straight highway driving”

The winner, selected by the conference Co-chairs together with the delegates, will be announced at the closing ceremony at the conference, October 21. The Award is 500 Euro and a free ticket to the next DDI conference.
